HELP!!!!
Does anyone have any freaking hints on potty training little boys!!!! I am seriously about to go nuts trying to potty train John!!! It seems like I have tried everything under the sun and nothing wants to work. Treats worked for 2 days. Now he won't tell me that he needs to go potty and lies about pottying in his pull up.

With Cam, I used a scrapbooking punch (shapes) from construction paper, colored, kept them in a baggie. HE was allowed to put on in the toliet and pee on it. That went over very well. I also, had the potty chair in the bathroom since he was 18mos. That was a source of curiosity. He LOVED sitting on the toliet when I did. I really got lucky. Everyone else tells me boys are a nightmare. Cam was effortless. SOrry. Hope this helps...
That's a good idea. The only thing is, is that he doen't like to stand when he pees. He's still a little too short. That or he just likes to sit on the toilet so that he can control where his pee goes...LOL But, I highley doubt that. I have tried with the little potty and he is very curious to sit on it. Bu that is all he will do. Thanks
Most little boys start peeing sitting down first - it's okay. I let mine run around naked as much as possible, they seem to not like messing on themselves as opposed to going in underwear or pull-ups. And I never forced the issue or made a big deal out of accidents. They slept in diapers for a WHILE!
If I were in my own house, I would have no problem letting him run around naked. My mom had the bright idea of buying leather furniture, so letting him do that is out of the question. Hopefully I will have him out of diapers (at least during the day) by the time he's three. We have no idea when we are going to ba able to move now.
